Lora Mosier
Lora Mosier of Sheffield Lake realized a life-long dream by starting the Burning River Boutique in September, 2009, featuring her hand-crafted jewelry, gifts and objects d’ art. The main focus of Lora’s art has become her photography, which was originally featured on her custom note cards. The Key Bank Focus 2010 photo contest held at the Solon Center for the Arts was the first competition for Lora and both of her entries, "Cropped Crops" and "Sunset Frets" were chosen by the judges for exhibition at the Beck Center for the Arts in Lakewood. Since then her eclectic collection of work has been exhibited throughout Ohio. Lora uses the Olympus E-420, 10 megapixel digital camera with Zuiko 14-42mm, 40-150mm, and 140-600mm lenses.

John B. Aird by Lora Mosier
The John B. Aird is a freighter that was winding its way through the Black River in Lorain, Ohio.
I thought that capturing the markings on the side would tell a better story than a photo of the entire boat.
And Is it a boat or a ship? Guess that's another story...
